Seminar on Kim Jong Il's Work Held in Switzerland
Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- A seminar on General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction" took place in Switzerland on May 12 to mark the 46th anniversary of the start of his work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Charly Kalbfuss, chief of the Pyongyang Cultural Interchange Centre in Lausane, Switzerland, and other speakers noted that Kim Jong Il in the work says that preserving the Juche character and national character and ensuring the independent development of the country and the nation are an essential requirement for strengthening the international unity and solidarity and making a genuine contribution to the development of the global revolutionary movement.

His work indicates a correct goal for the country and the people aspiring after independence and ways to attain it, they noted.

They stressed that he has firmly adhered to the Juche-oriented stand in all fields of socialist construction including the party and the state building and solved the problems arising in revolution and construction independently and creatively in the interests of the Korean revolution and the Korean people.
