Normalization of Relations between Japan and DPRK Called for
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- The Japanese government is getting evermore undisguised in its hostile moves against the DPRK instead of making an apology for aggression against Korea and colonial rule over it in the past.

Hirohachiro Kaku, co-representative of the Solidarity of Citizens in Osaka Prefecture Demanding Earlier Normalization of the Relations between Japan and the DPRK, said this when interviewed by a KCNA reporter before flying back home after winding up his visit to the DPRK.

It is the violation of the rights of the Korean students to exclude the Korean schools in Japan from the list of state assistance to senior high schools, he said, adding:

The right to education should be equally applied to all the students.

There is no reason why the Korean schools for the children of Koreans in Japan should be excluded from the list.

The government is bedeviling the relations between Japan and the DPRK by distorting history and raising the "abduction issue".

It has fostered extreme horror among the Japanese people while describing the satellite launch of the DPRK as "a missile launch" and taken hard-line stand against the DPRK while taking issue with its successful nuclear test.

It does not think at all what crimes Japan committed against Koreans in the past.

The Japanese government should stop the hostile acts against the DPRK.

Many Japanese people are now trying to have proper understanding of the DPRK whose people are all out in socialist construction based on the Juche idea.

I think it is important for them to visit the DPRK and see for themselves the reality here.

We will dynamically conduct activities for the normalization of the relations between the two countries together with personages of different circles of Japan and Koreans in Japan.
