Condolatory Visit Paid to Nigerian Embassy
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Bureau of Diplomatic Corps Affairs sent wreaths to the Nigerian embassy here on Friday in memory of Alhaji Umaru Musa Yaradua, president of Nigeria.

Wreaths were laid before the photo of the deceased.

Visiting the embassy were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the SPA, Pak Ui Chun, minister of Foreign Affairs, Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Mun Jae Chol, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Nigeria Friendship Association, and officials concerned.

They observed a moment's silence in memory of the deceased and made an entry in the mourner's book.

Diplomatic envoys of different countries here also visited the Nigerian embassy on the same day to mourn the death of the president.
