Kim Yong Nam Meets Mongolian FM
Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, met and had a talk with Gombojab Zandanshatar, minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia, and his party who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Thursday.

The minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia asked Kim Yong Nam to convey a personal message from Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj to General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Kim Yong Nam conveyed to the minister a verbal message from Kim Jong Il to Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.

The minister said that the relations between Mongolia and the DPRK have favorably developed over the last more than six decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

He expressed the belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would grow stronger in various domains including politics, economy and culture in the future, too, and wished the Korean people prosperity.

Kim Yong Nam also had a talk with a delegation of Koreans in Japan headed by Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, in an atmosphere overflowing with compatriotic feelings on the same day.
