Floral Tribute Paid to Kang Pan Sok
Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the statue of Kang Pan Sok, an indomitable revolutionary fighter, at the Chilgol Revolutionary Site and before her grave in Mangyongdae on Wednesday on the occasion of the 118th anniversary of her birth.

Seen before the statue and grave were wreaths from General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were O Kuk Ryol, Choe Thae Bok, Kim Ki Nam, Yang Hyong Sop and others, the chairman of a friendly party, leading officials of party and power organs and working people's organizations, officials of ministries and national institutions and officials and working people in the city of Pyongyang.

Placed before the statue and grave were wreaths in the name of the WPK Central Committee and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Also laid were wreaths in the name of working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions and revolutionary schools and party and power organs, farms, schools and others in Pyongyang.

The participants paid silent tribute to Kang Pan Sok, looking back on her brilliant revolutionary life and exploits.
