DPRK Govt Gives Banquet for Mongolian FM
Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- A banquet was given by the DPRK government in honor of Gombojab Zandanshatar, minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia, on a visit to the DPRK at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Tuesday.

Present there on invitation were Gombojab Zandanshatar and his party and Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar, Mongolian ambassador to the DPRK.

Pak Ui Chun said in his speech at the banquet that the relations between the two countries have a long history of more than 60 years as its roots were provided by President Kim Il Sung and leaders of Mongolia.

It is the consistent stand of the DPRK government to steadily boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, he said, expressing belief that the visit of the minister would contribute to boosting the bilateral relations.

Gombojab Zandanshatar said in his speech that the friendly relations between the two countries provided by leaders of Mongolia and President Kim Il Sung have further developed.

He expressed wholehearted thanks to Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, for having paid deep attention to the development of the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.
