Kim Yong Nam Greets Zimbabwean President
Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, sent a message of greetings to Robert G. Mugabe, president of Zimbabwe, on April 13 on the occasion of the 30th birthday of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

In the message Kim noted that under the correct leadership of the president the Zimbabwean people have made great progress in the struggle to consolidate the national independence, frustrating the ceaseless interference of foreign forces over the past 30 years.

Expressing belief that the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger, he sincerely wished the president and people of Zimbabwe bigger success in their work for political stability and economic development of the country.
