US Forces' Killings of Iraqi Civilians Assailed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee of the Solidarity for Peace against War in south Korea issued a statement on April 8 in connection with the disclosure of murder of civilians by the U.S. forces in Iraq.

The statement recalled an Internet site on April 5 disclosed the fact that the GIs who were aboard a helicopter gunship over Baghdad on July 12, 2007 indiscriminately fired at civilians and at a truck running to rescue them, killing 12 of them and wounding two children.

This mass killing of civilians clearly proved that the U.S. assertion that U.S. forces are present in Iraq for its reconstruction is nothing but sheer hypocrisy, the statement noted.

The killings of civilians will go on in Iraq as long as the U.S. forces remain there, it held, demanding the U.S. pull its forces for aggression out of that country.
