Solution to Registration Fee Issue Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- The Federation of University Students in the 21st Century, the Seoul District Students' Measure Committee for Education, the March of Students and other university students organizations in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on April 3, demanding a solution to the issue of registration fee.

At the rally the organizations charged that the authorities have squandered a fabulous amount of money on the "readjustment of four large rivers" and pursued the policy of tax reduction for the rich while persistently turning aside the "commitment to reducing the registration fee by half" they had repeatedly made before their seizure of power.

Urging the "government" and the "Grand National Party" to make a decision to reduce the registration fee as early as possible, the organizations warned that they would face a stern judgment in the forthcoming "elections to local self-governing bodies" if they ignore this demand of the students to the last.

The participants in the rally conducted a signature campaign demanding that the authorities immediately opt for settling the issue of registration fee.
