Japan's Scheme to Grab Tok Islets Flayed
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Peace in Asia and Education in History in south Korea issued a statement on March 31 denouncing the Japanese authorities for their moves to grab Tok Islets.

Recalling that the Japanese authorities passed textbooks for primary school children in which Tok Islets are marked as part of Japan's territory through examination, the statement charged that this is an act of diametrically running counter to the trend of the international community to set right history as it is another clear proof of Japan's territorial ambition for the islets.

Noting that Japan envisages marking the islets as part of its territory in textbook for all middle school students next year, it added that we can no longer remain an onlooker to Japan's moves to revive militarism.

We will strongly react to Japan's moves for grabbing the islets in solidarity with the peoples of all the countries standing for peace, the statement stressed.
