KCTU Declares All-out Struggle
Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a rally in Youido of Seoul on March 27 with the attendance of at least 10,000 unionists at which it declared an all-out struggle against the unpopular policies of the puppet regime.

At the rally the speakers accused the authorities of dismissing workers en masse, imposing low wages upon laborers and intensifying the suppression of trade unions including the Railway Workers' Union, the Construction Workers' Union, the Government Employees' Union and the Teachers' Trade Union.

There is neither people's hope nor future for children, if we hesitate to struggle in face of the present dark reality, they held, calling upon the people from all walks of life to unite and surely judge the "government" going against the mindset of the people.

A resolution read out at the rally noted that the organization would launch strong actions including a general strike at the end of April to check the massive dismissal through restructuring, put an end to the unpopular policies and win the right to existence.

The organization would solidarize with all the anti-"government" forces, in particular, in order to turn the "elections to the local self-governing bodies" into a platform for judging the present regime and win a sure victory, declared the resolution.
