Preparations for New School Year Get Brisk
Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Brisk preparations for a new school year are going on in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The educational institutions have already finished teaching programs for a new school year and equipped themselves with more experimental facilities and apparatuses.

Universities have paid a deep concern to encouraging teachers to steadily improve teaching contents and methods and their scientific, theoretical and practical qualifications to meet the requirements of the developing situation.

Having organized teaching contests and exhibitions of visual aid materials, videos, experimental apparatuses and teaching tools, they are making preparations for a proper combination of the practical education with experiment and training.

Teachers of the secondary and primary schools across the country, too, have pushed ahead with the preparatory work for a new school year.

Nation-wide assistance to the educational institutions has also played a big role in the preparations for a new school year.

Printing, paper and daily necessities factories are giving priority to producing school supplies.

Ministries and national institutions such as the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ministry of Foodstuff and Daily Necessities Industry and the Bureau for Quality Control of the DPRK have sent up-to-date teaching apparatuses to universities, including Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology.
