On display in the exhibition hall were diagrammatic charts, multimedia, etc. on more than 300 scientific and technological achievements presented by designers, researchers, technicians and teachers in the field of machine designing.

The exhibition was divided into machine design, design support program, machine type design and prize contest panels.

Its participants had an opportunity to exchange the latest scientific and technological achievements and experience gained in working out machine designs and putting them into practice as required by IT age.

Drawing the attention of the visitors were designs of CNC-based machine tools and production processes, designs of machines developed in Korean style and their general assembling design, successes made in developing computer databases and experience gained in updating designing means and instruments.
