US Urged to Open Its Forces' Germ Warfare in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- Members of the Solidarity for Progress and the Democratic Labor Party in south Korea at a press conference outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on March 22 urged the U.S. to probe the truth about the germ warfare committed by the U.S. imperialists during the last Korean war.

Speakers at the press conference referred to the recent disclosure of information about the germ warfare carried out by the U.S. forces during the Korean war.

Noting that the U.S. use of germ weapons is a crime against humanity, they added that there are still increasing suspicions of the U.S. use of germ and chemical weapons, etc. in different parts of the world.

They queried: "Can the continued presence of the U.S. forces in south Korea under the pretext of 'peace-keeping' be justified as they committed such hideous crimes against humanity?"

They urged the U.S. to open to the public the truth about the above-said crime, punish those responsible for it, make an apology and reparation for it and stop the use of germ weapons and opt for dismantling them.

At the end of the press conference, they handed a written request demanding a probe into the truth about the germ warfare to the U.S. embassy.
