S. Korean Authorities Assailed for Blocking Inter-Korean Cooperation
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Federation of University Student Councils issued a statement on March 22 slamming the puppet authorities for obstructing the resumption of the tour of Mt. Kumgang and the area of Kaesong and standing in the way of the inter-Korean cooperation.

The statement deplored that the issue has not yet been properly solved due to the unreasonable attitude taken by the "government" despite the north's sincere efforts for the resumption of the above-said tour.

Mt. Kumgang is not only a tourist destination but also a place for achieving reunification, it said, adding: The resumption of the tour is a task to be fulfilled by all Koreans.

All the people should properly understand that the "government" is to blame for the failure to resume the tour as it has stood in the way of the inter-Korean cooperation and exchange, it urged.

The People for Achieving Reunification held a meeting on Mar. 21 at which it announced a working plan for seeking the earliest possible solution to the issue of resuming the tour of Mt. Kumgang now in the grip of a serious crisis due to the moves of the puppet authorities against the nation.
