Day of Sun to Be Commemorated by Koreans in Russia

| Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The United Confederation of Koreans in the Far East of Russia and the Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia jointly formed a preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun on March 16. Kwon Chon Sik, chairman of the confederation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the inaugural ceremony. The committee set the days from March 16 to April 18 as the period of commemoration and decided to hold colorful functions including a meeting to adopt a message of greetings and a commemoration meeting. |
