The functions were participated in by officials and doctors from the Ministry of Public Health and tuberculosis prevention and treatment establishments across the country, and the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and members of other international organizations in Pyongyang.

They had a symposium on success and experience gained in the efforts for eradicating tuberculosis and watched a science film, "Tuberculosis" (Part 1), produced in cooperation with WHO.

They then saw the books and photos on display in the house.
