US to Blame for Torpedoing Process for Solution to N. Issue
Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Crowley, U.S. assistant secretary of State for Information, recently talked nonsense that the recent Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises staged by the U.S. and south Korea were "annual routine ones" and "nothing surprising". Stephens, U.S. ambassadress in Seoul, let loose rhetoric that the U.S. stands for dialogue, not the use of force, and the DPRK should respond to "talks" without delay.

Minju Joson Tuesday in a signed commentary terms such outbursts sheer sophism let loose by the U.S. to justify its behavior, much upset by the repeated tough steps taken by the DPRK to cope with the exercises of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces for a nuclear war of aggression against the DPRK.

No matter how rhetorically the U.S. may describe the said war exercises as "annual ones", it can never conceal the offensive and aggressive nature and danger of the above-said war maneuvers, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The war exercises self-exposed that the U.S. does not have even the slightest will to make a switchover in its hostile policy toward the DPRK nor have any intention to give up its policy for stifling the DPRK by force and its scenario for mounting a preemptive nuclear attack on it.

The U.S. warmongers and the south Korean puppet forces' reckless racket for a nuclear war is gravely threatening the peace on the Korean Peninsula and again driving the process for the denuclearization of the peninsula to a collapse.

The U.S. is to blame for this. The hostile forces staged test nuclear war exercises aimed at making a surprise preemptive strike at the DPRK, while talking about "dialogue." It is illogical for the DPRK to sit at the negotiating table with those forces to discuss the dismantlement of nuclear deterrent for self-defence.

The U.S. will be held wholly accountable for having torpedoed the process for a peaceful settlement of the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula.
