Musan Mining Complex with Large Deposit of Iron Ores
Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- The Musan Mining Complex located in the northern inland area of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a leading iron ore producer of the country.

The complex has directed efforts to technical remodeling of equipment to boost iron ore production.

After conveyorizing the transport of ores to the dressing plant from stopes, it is now buckling down to a project of its capacity expansion, including installation of a large cone-shaped crusher with a daily capacity of tens of thousands of tons of earth-scraping.

It annually produces millions of tons of concentrated iron ores for the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, Songjin Steel Complex and other major metallurgical works, contributing to the development of the country's independent industry.

Under deep care of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il the complex has turned into a giant iron ore producer embracing mountains terraced with stopes as well as up-to-date mining equipment.

The complex has a deposit of billions of tons of high-grade iron ores.
