DPRK Will Show No Mercy to Aggressors
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The servicepersons and people of the DPRK, who value the dignity and sovereignty of the nation dearer than their own lives, will clearly teach what miserable end the U.S. and south Korean bellicose forces will meet if they dare provoke the second Korean war.

Rodong Sinmun Monday serves this warning in a signed commentary.

The ongoing large-scale war exercises of the U.S. and south Korea are a reckless action of chilling the DPRK's efforts for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and premeditated saber-ratting to escalate the military confrontation and tension in the peninsula and drive the situation to a catastrophic phase of war, the commentary says, and goes on:

It is the strategic target and wild ambition of the U.S. imperialists to contain the DPRK by mobilizing all means including military threat, sanctions and ideological and cultural poisoning.

The DPRK cannot trust the U.S. as it is playing a double-dealing game, with a dagger hidden under its belt.

It is the steadfast stand and principle of the DPRK to respond to good faith in kind and react to strength in kind.

The south Korean warlike forces should refrain from doing such foul things as acting a war servant of the U.S. imperialists.

The DPRK's army of Songun will show neither mercy nor goodwill to the aggressors.
