DPRK-targeted War Maneuvers Assailed
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises started by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet warmongers on March 8 are at their height, bringing to light their provocative nature as maneuvers for a war of aggression aimed at mounting a surprise preemptive attack on the DPRK, nuclear war exercises.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a signed article.

This reckless saber-rattling is a product of the hostile policy of the warmongers at home and abroad toward the DPRK, it notes, and goes on:

The above-said war maneuvers are going on at a time when the south Korean puppet authorities are letting loose a spate of belligerent outbursts such as "contingency" and "preemptive strike," while perpetrating ceaselessly military provocations against the DPRK in the waters of the West Sea. This cannot be construed otherwise than an extremely disturbing development.

The on-going joint war exercises are a test nuclear war against the DPRK little different from the former Team Spirit joint military exercises as they are under way under the changed codename.

The Key Resolve and Foal Eagle are targeted against the DPRK and the bellicose forces at home and abroad may ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK any time.

Brass hats of the militaries of the U.S. and south Korea did not conceal the fact that a landing operation against the coastal areas of the DPRK would be a climax of the joint military exercises. This provides a clear proof that the on-going war exercises are offensive ones for invading the DPRK from A to Z.

The DPRK loves peace and does not want a war but will never allow the warmongers to invade it. It will mete out a merciless judgment to the aggressors.

The U.S. and the south Korean ruling quarters would be well advised to stop acting rashly, pondering over the catastrophic impact their frantic moves for a war of aggression against the DPRK will have on the inter-Korean relations, peace on the Korean Peninsula and the security of the nation.
