Speeches were made there by Omar Lopez, chairman of the Venezuelan National Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, Diego Antonio Rivero, chairman of the Venezuela-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association and others.

The speakers proved in depth the validity and vitality of the immortal Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung.

Noting that General Secretary Kim Jong Il has steadily enriched the Juche idea as required by the developing reality, they praised his undying exploits for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence.

They stressed that his ideas and theories show the bright road ahead of the world progressives striving to build an independent new society.

Referring to the signal achievements made by the Korean people in the drive to build a thriving socialist nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il while smashing every obstructive move of the imperialists, they expressed the resolution to intensify the study and dissemination of the Juche idea.
