S. Korean Officials' Scenario to Sever Korean Relations Blasted
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The chief executive of south Korea, addressing a meeting commemorating the March First Popular Uprising, prattled that his regime has striven to develop the south-north relations by a fresh mode on a consistent principle and from a sincere approach. He cried out "for proving the sincerity in practice." Hyon In Thaek in a speech made at a meeting commemorating the anniversary of the fabrication of the "Ministry of Unification" talked nonsense that "it has steered the inter-Korean relations well and they are advancing, though slow in pace." He went the lengths of calling for "crossing the threshold of the nuclear issue".

Minju Joson Thursday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The conservative ruling forces in south Korea are contemplating finally severing the inter-Korean relations in collusion with foreign forces, pursuant to their "policy toward the north", a policy of confrontation with fellow countrymen condemned by the whole nation. This can never be tolerated.

It is an act of mocking at the nation that the conservative group advocated the absurd "principle", totally negating the north-south joint declarations.

Their rhetoric whitewashing their criminal acts with the word "sincerity" betrays their true intention to stick to the above-said "policy toward the north" in the future, too.

Ryu Myong Hwan, minister of "Foreign Affairs and Trade", in the so-called "strategic dialogue" with his master held in the United States, trumpeted about "two-pronged strategy for dialogue and sanctions" against the DPRK. Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint war exercises are, in fact, in their height in south Korea.

This saber-rattling is pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war. As evidenced by facts, the conservative group seeks to ignite a war of aggression against the north any moment while steadily deteriorating the inter-Korean relations under the pretext of the nuclear issue.

The conservative forces of south Korea can never go safe in case they totally sever the inter-Korean relations. The whole nation will never pardon them.
