Suppression of Korean Students in Japan Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification released a statement on March 5 denouncing the Japanese government for its suppression of Korean students in Japan.

Recalling that the Japanese government is seeking to exclude only the Korean schools from the "tuition-free program for senior high schools" when the group of ultra-right gangsters is these days becoming all the more brutal in the outrage against Korean students in Japan, the statement condemned this scheme as a deed of further encouraging the shameless terrorist action.

Such developments are an extension of the smear campaign the Japanese authorities have so far persistently staged against the DPRK and the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and their politically-motivated suppression of Koreans in Japan, it charged, declaring that all the Koreans will certainly force Japan, the sworn enemy, to make an apology and reparation for its past crimes and suppression of Koreans in Japan.

It called upon all the people to extend positive support to the struggle of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and vigorously fight to check Japan's scheme for revival of militarism and liquidate the pro-Japanese sycophantic and treacherous forces.
