Bangladesh Figure Supports Proposal for Celebration of Birth of Kim Il Sung

| Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, issued a statement on March 1 in support of the proposal to form the international preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung. He said in the statement that he joined the progressive people of the world in fully supporting the said proposal. In the run-up to the birth anniversary of the President the progressive people of the world look back with deep emotion on the immortal revolutionary feats performed by him on behalf of mankind and his brilliant life, the statement noted, and continued: The DPRK turned into a powerful socialist state and the anti-imperialist independent forces grew stronger in the international arena thanks to Kim Il Sung's brilliant ideological and theoretical activities and revolutionary practice. The great feats performed by him in the popular masses' cause of independence will remain shining forever along with human history.
