Heyday in Reunification Movement Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration in south Korea issued a resolution on Feb. 28 in which it called for bringing about a great heyday in the reunification movement.

The resolution recalled that 10 years have passed since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration but the nation's desire for independence, peace and reunification has not yet come true.

Since the emergence of the present regime, in particular, the inter-Korean relations have inched close to the brink of a war though they had favorably developed since the publication of the above-said declaration and the authorities have become evermore undisguised in their sycophancy towards the U.S., the resolution held, adding this was obviously not what the people expected from the June 15 era.

In order to get rid of the misfortune they have suffered over the past two years they should judge the present regime and the "Grand National Party" without fail and this objective can be achieved only through a united struggle, the resolution asserted, and continued:

The organization will actively develop the movement for driving the U.S. forces out of south Korea and concluding a peace treaty into an all-people movement and bring about a great heyday in the reunification movement with the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, a landmark of reunification, as a momentum.

It will surely judge the sycophantic, treacherous, undemocratic, anti- reunification and unpopular regime in the election to the local self-governing bodies, it declared.
