New Health Foodstuff Developed
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- Researchers of the Life Science Faculty of Kim Il Sung University have developed a new multi-functional health foodstuff.

They had paid attention to beans and oil-bearing flax for the purpose of making a functional health foodstuff of remedial value with natural active components of plants.

Having discovered that the crops contain some functional components useful for making a health foodstuff strong in anticancer effect and good in adaptability to estrogen, they had persevered in making experiments and research into the foodstuff.

This foodstuff is especially efficacious for women of about the climacteric age and for prevention of such diseases as mastopathy and osteoporosis.

It is also good for protecting heart blood vessels through removal of cholesterol and neutral fat in blood and telangiectasia.
