S. Korea's Redispatch to Afghanistan Blasted
Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- The Joint Conference of Civic and Public Organizations against the Move for Troop Re-dispatch to Afghanistan in south Korea had a rally in Seoul on Feb. 20 at which it urged the authorities to cancel their move for the re-dispatch of troops to the shambles of the U.S. war for aggression.

Speakers at the rally accused the present "government" of working hard to railroad the "motion calling for re-dispatch of troops to Afghanistan" through the session of the "National Assembly" at any cost, breaking its promise made to the people that it would not dispatch troops to Afghanistan again.

Deploring that the dispatch of south Korean troops to the wars of aggression started by the U.S. in Iraq and Afghanistan caused heavy losses to innocent south Koreans, they lashed out at the authorities for contemplating the re-dispatch of troops, utterly indifferent to the lives and security of the people.

They demanded the "government" and the NA to immediately roll back the plan for the re-dispatch of troops under the pretext of "reconstruction."
