The work, published on Mar. 1, Juche 82 (1993), lays bare the reactionary nature and absurdity of the sophistry that socialism is "totalitarian," "barracks-like" and "administrative and commanding" let loose by the imperialists and renegades of socialism.

It also clarifies the principled issues arising in defending the cause of socialism and accomplishing it such as the issues of regarding socialism as faith and putting it on a moral basis and giving full play to its advantages.
