Kim Jong Il's Birthday Celebrated in Cuba

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- A friendly meeting was held by the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces and a meeting and film show by an agriculture and stock-farming enterprise of Cuba on Feb. 5 and 10 on the occasion of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Attending the functions were personages of the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, the Cuban preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the said enterprise and masses. The DPRK ambassador to Cuba and staff members of his embassy were on hand. The participants of the film show watched the Korean film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation". |
