Brazilian Figure Meets DPRK Ambassador
Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The relations between the Brazilian Communist Party and the Workers' Party of Korea were forged in the joint struggle for building an independent and peaceful new world against the U.S. imperialists and for the international unity among progressive political parties.

Renato Ravello, national chairman of the Central Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party, said this when the DPRK ambassador to Brazil paid a courtesy call on him on Feb. 5.

He stressed that the experience gained by the WPK in its struggle for socialist construction and the country's reunification is of great help to the Brazilian party building and activities.

He said that he would make a positive contribution to further consolidating the relations between the two parties and developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and peoples in various fields.
