Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, Yang Hyong Sop and officials concerned, officials of ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, working people, school youth and children and the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Culture An Tong Chun referred to the fact that the 14th Kimjongilia Festival was held with splendor and stressed the need to swap the achievements and experience gained in cultivating and propagating the immortal flowers and boost the exchange and cooperation in the future, too, to keep the flowers of the sun in fuller bloom.
