The work, published on Feb. 19, Juche 63 (1974), formulated the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as an integral whole of the idea, theory and method of Juche and declared it as the supreme programme of the Workers' Party of Korea to model the whole society on the Juche idea.

The long period since the publication of the work represents a sacred course in which the cause of modeling the whole society on the Juche idea has been steadily developed in depth under the energetic guidance of Kim Jong Il and shining annals in which the undisputed truth of the great revolutionary idea has been fully proved and brilliant victory and century-old changes have been brought about in the Korean revolution and construction, the article says, and goes on:

The wise guidance provided by Kim Jong Il for accomplishing the cause of modeling the whole society on the Juche idea lies in that he has more firmly cemented the revolutionary ranks into an unbreakable integral whole armed with the great Juche idea, the Songun idea and thoroughly met the requirements of the Juche idea in all fields of the revolution and construction and that he has given fullest play to the ideological and moral power of all the servicepersons and people, bringing about an uninterrupted leap forward in the drive to build a thriving nation.

He is now making an endless forced march of guerrilla style, inspiring all the servicepersons and people in their high-pitched drive for effecting a great surge.

His tireless field guidance characterized by super-human will and inexhaustible enthusiasm serve as an engine setting the hearts of all of them afire with patriotic enthusiasm and pledge of loyalty and arousing them to work world-startling miracles in every part of the country without let-up.
