Congratulation from Koreans in Japan
Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received congratulatory messages and letters from organizations of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Koreans in Japan on the occasion of his birthday.

Among them are the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, the Central Standing Committees of the Korean Youth League in Japan and the Korean Democratic Women's Union in Japan, the Central Standing Management Board of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Teachers and School Clerks in Japan, the Central Standing Councils of the Union of Korean Education Association in Japan, the Korean Science and Technology Association in Japan and the Korean Social Scientists Association in Japan, the Standing Council of the Korean Amateur Athletic Federation in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Writers and Artists in Japan, the Central Standing Council of the Korean Medical Association in Japan and the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Students Union in Japan, the Association of Koreans in Japan for Peaceful Reunification, the Central Standing Council of the Korean Human Rights Federation in Japan and other central organizations of Chongryon and its affiliated organizations, the Choson Sinbo Company, the Korea News Service, the Hagu Bookshop, the Kumgangsan Opera Troupe, the Kumgang Insurance Company, the Korean Goods Sales Company, the Committee for Promoting Korea-Japan Economic Exchange, the Federation of Joint Economic Venture of Korean Residents in Japan, the Center for Consulting Marriage of Korean Youth in Japan, the Korean Press Hall and other enterprises, different prefectural headquarters of Chongryon, Joson University and Korean schools at all levels and Koreans in Japan.

They wished Kim Jong Il, the sun of mankind in the 21st century and the tender-hearted father of Koreans in Japan, good health, saying that his well-being is their strongest earnest wish.
