Indian Figure Meets DPRK Ambassador
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- A. B. Bardhan, general secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, met with the DPRK ambassador to India on Feb. 5.

The general secretary said that the Communist Party of India and the Workers' Party of Korea have long-standing friendly relations and supported and solidarized with each other in the struggle against imperialism and for the socialist cause.

Fully supporting the joint editorial of the leading newspapers of the DPRK, he wished the Korean people successes in their struggle to implement the militant tasks set forth in the joint editorial under the leadership of the WPK.

The DPRK's proposal for concluding a peace treaty is a positive one to realize the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, he noted, demanding the U.S. respond to this proposal of the DPRK and come out to the talks aimed at concluding a peace treaty.
