Central Control System of Street Lamps Established
Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A central control system of street lamps has been established in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The remote control system is networked with the districts' control systems.

It takes necessary measures according to the state of street lamps signified by the districts' control systems.

The newly established system makes it possible to control street lamps in Pyongyang on a scientific and technical basis and reduce the consumption of electricity so much.

Street lamps in such streets as Yonggwang, Sungri, Chilsongmun and Chollima are now controlled by the new system.

The Pyongyang City Street Lamp Management Office, with the help of scientists and researchers, has focused on putting the scientific and technical management of street lamps on a higher level on the basis of the already achieved successes.
