S. Korean Intelligence Service's Suppression Flayed
Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- The Buddhist Citizens Federation for Economic Justice, the Buddhist Environment Solidarity, the Buddhist Human Rights Committee and eight other Buddhist organizations of south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on Feb. 2 denouncing the puppet Intelligence Service's base suppression.

At the press conference the organizations accused the IS of pressurizing Jogye Temple not to offer a venue for an event to civic organizations recently. They branded this as an undemocratic act of violating even the freedom of assembly and the authority of religious organizations.

They charged that intolerable is such suppression resorted to by the IS to block the event of civic organizations for the mere reason that they are opposed to the present "government's" unpopular misrule and moves to put media under its control.

The recent action glaringly reveals the dictatorial nature of the present "government," they said, demanding the authorities apologize for this and Won Se Hun, director of the IS, step down of his own accord.
