Suppression of DLP Denounced in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- The Democratic Labor Party of south Korea held a meeting in Seoul on Jan. 30 condemning the puppet authorities' suppression.

The speakers at the meeting accused the police of summoning more than 290 persons recently for investigation, claiming it confirmed the fact that members of the Teachers Trade Union and the Trade Union of Government Officials had paid political funds to the above-said party after joining it.

They charged that this action was the present regime's premeditated suppression of the opposition party aimed at throwing it into a tight corner in the run-up to the "election to the local self-governing bodies".

Disclosing the shocking fact that the police illegally hacked the Internet site of the DLP, in particular, in a bid to investigate various information about its activities, they declared such practice was absolutely intolerable.

They demanded the authorities give up at once the despicable plots and politically motivated investigation to destroy a progressive political party.
