DPRK-Russia Friendship Film Week Opens
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A film week was opened with due ceremony at Taedongmun Cinema Thursday on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the conclusion of the treaty of friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation between the DPRK and Russia.

Present there were Hong Son Ok, vice-chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairwoman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, officials concerned and working people in the city.

On hand were Valery Sukhinin, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.

Speeches were made there.

The speakers referred to the fact that the two countries have developed the bilateral relations of cooperation in various fields in line with the desire and the interests of their peoples after the conclusion of the treaty.

Saying that meetings of the leaders of the two countries and adoption of historic joint declarations have given further momentum to the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship and cooperation in the past decade, they added that they would make efforts to boost these relations.

And the participants watched a Russian feature film
