Japanese Reactionaries' Claim to Tok Islets Flayed
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries were reported to have "discovered" a map dating back to the latter half of the 19th century, making much fuss, asserting they obtained a big "treasure." They will reportedly make preparations for "striking back" at somebody, regarding it as a ground for asserting "dominium" over Tok Islets.

Leading papers Wednesday in signed commentaries observe that it had already been irrefutably proved by historic facts and data and geographical and legal grounds that Tok Islets are part of the inviolable territory of Korea.

The commentaries demand the Japanese reactionaries drop their foolish daydream, bearing in mind that any attempt to grab the islets would lead them to self-destruction.

Rodong Sinmun notes it is the height of shamelessness for Japan to far-fetchedly insist that other's land "belongs to it."

It goes on:

By grabbing the islets Japan seeks to pave the way for staging a comeback to Korea and, furthermore, realize its old dream of the "Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere."

The Japanese reactionaries are so brazen-faced and brigandish as to undisguisedly reveal again their wild ambition to grab the islets, taking advantage of the above-mentioned map printed in the West in the 19th century.

With nothing can Japan justify its "claim" to Tok Islets and its wild ambition can never come true.

The Korean people will strongly react to the Japanese reactionaries' brigandish moves to grab the islets.

Minju Joson says the Japanese reactionaries are deliberately escalating the dispute over Tok Islets in a bid to strain the situation and stage a comeback to Korea under this pretext, adding this is, however, no more than a daydream.
