In the message Kim said that the bilateral relations of friendship provided by President Kim Il Sung and President Ho Chi Minh have been consolidated and developed in political, economic, cultural and other fields in the common struggle for socialism over the past 60 years.

Expressing belief that these relations of friendship and cooperation with a long history and tradition would grow stronger, the message sincerely wished the President and people of Vietnam greater success in their efforts to build a rich and powerful country.
