Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the Danish preparatory committee and Taji Haider, general secretary of the Sind Provincial Committee of the Pakistan People's Party who is member of the Party Central Executive Committee, chairman of the Pakistani preparatory committee.

The Danish preparatory committee set the days from Jan. 25 to Feb. 18 as a celebration period and decided to widely introduce the greatness and undying exploits of Kim Jong Il and conduct brisk activities of supporting the Korean people in the efforts for a great prosperous and powerful nation and national reunification in this period.

The Pakistani preparatory committee set the days from Jan. 21 to Feb. 20 as a celebration period and decided to hold such colorful events as meeting, seminar, film show and photo exhibition in this period.
