Indian Party Leader Meets DPRK Ambassador
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Debabrata Biswas, general secretary of the Central Committee of the All-India Forward Bloc, when meeting the DPRK ambassador to India on Jan. 25, hoped that the Korean people would achieve great successes in carrying out the militant tasks set forth in the joint New Year editorial under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It is of very weighty significance that the DPRK set it as the general orientation to launch a sweeping campaign for bringing about a drastic turn in the improvement of the people's standard of living in the joint editorial this year, he said.

The WPK and the All-India Forward Bloc have maintained good relations, supporting and solidarizing with each other in the efforts for socialism against imperialism, he noted, expressing the unshakable will of the bloc to keep boosting such relations in the future.

He stressed that the DPRK proposal for concluding a peace treaty is a positive step for peace, security and denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, expressing full support for the proposal.
