Peace-loving DPRK's Stand Supported
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- British and Peruvian organizations issued statements in support of the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry.

The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain in its statement on Jan. 15 held that the issue of concluding a peace treaty should have already been solved in the Korean Peninsula.

It is the only way of guaranteeing peace in the peninsula and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region to conclude a durable peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S., the statement noted, and went on:

We support the stand of the DPRK demanding the U.S. and its followers lift sanctions against the DPRK.

There can be a sincere dialogue only when the sanctions are lifted.

We demand the U.S. withdraw all its forces of aggression and arms and equipment from south Korea as part of the efforts for concluding a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S.

We fully support the just stand of the peace-loving DPRK clarified in the statement of its Foreign Ministry.

The Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship in its statement on Jan. 13 expressed full support for the just stand and the Songun politics of the DPRK which has war deterrent strong enough to cope with the moves of the U.S. imperialists for aggression.

The statement called upon the progressives to extend full support to the Korean people in their struggle against the U.S. hostile acts toward the DPRK.
