Scientists and technicians in the branch academy of railway engineering and institutes of control machinery and heat engineering, etc. are pushing ahead with ambitious and large projects for developing such important technological domains as mechanical, metal and heat engineering rapidly.

Many of them have visited factories and enterprises to help them enhance their own abilities to develop new technologies and products by bringing science and technology close to production.

The mass technological innovation movement has been invigorated at factories and enterprises.

Scientists and technicians, with a firm resolution to fully discharge their responsibility and duty in the current general offensive for improvement of the people's living standard, are concentrating their effort on rapidly developing core technologies, technical engineering of major sectors and basic science with a correct strategy for the development of science and technology as required by the 21st century.
