Story of Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- One day early in January Juche 95 (2006) General Secretary
Kim Jong Il visited an e-library newly built at Kim Chaek University of Technology. He stopped in front of an art work hanging on the wall of the first-floor hall.

The art work was depicting Kim Jong Il, who visited the university and met teachers, researchers and other staff members some years ago.

Looking at the art work in meditation, he told officials that President Kim Il Sung had visited Kim Chaek University of Technology and guided its work several times in his lifetime, attaching great importance to the university and that thanks to his wise leadership the university had turned into the highest seat for training scientists and technicians of the country.

He also said the revolutionary cause of the President should be carried forward with only him being venerated as eternal leader of the people and that doing so was the first and lofty duty of the Koreans. He then suggested in earnest that a photo or an art work of the President being among teachers and researchers of the university should be placed on the wall of the hall.

Hence an art work of the President opening up a grand vista for the development of the country's science and technology has been displayed in the hall.
