Former Chairperson of Hanchongryon Arrested

| Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- The fascist police of south Korea arrested Song Hyo Won, chairperson of the 13th-term (south) Korean Federation of University Student Councils (Hanchongryon), on December 30 last year on charges of violation of the notorious "National Security Law." The police had kicked off an arrest racket against her since it put her on the "want list" for several years on the charge of violating the NSL including "acts of praising and encouraging the north" and "admission to an enemy-benefiting organization" while being active as chairperson of Hanchongryon. |
