Kim Jong Il Greets to Raul Castro Ruz

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il together with Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, sent a message of greetings to Raul Castro Ruz, second secretary of the C.C., the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Council of State and President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, on Thursday on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the victorious Cuban revolution.

The message said:

We, on behalf of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government and the people of the DPRK, extend warm congratulations to you and the Communist Party of Cuba and the Cuban government and people on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the victory in the Cuban revolution.

Availing ourselves of this opportunity to express belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the parties, governments and peoples of the two countries would grow stronger in the future, we heartily wish you and your people greater successes in the work for the development and prosperity of the country.
