Delegation of Songjin Steel Complex Feted
Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Banquets were given at the Mokran House and the People's Palace of Culture Friday to welcome the delegation of workers and technicians of the Songjin Steel Complex.

Present there were senior party, army and state officials, chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the Workers' Party of Korea and leading officials of working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions.

Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, made a speech at the banquet given at the Mokran House while Premier Kim Yong Il addressed the banquet given at the People's Palace of Culture.

Upon the authorization of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, the speakers warmly welcomed the delegation of workers and technicians of the Songjin Steel Complex who completely established the Korean-style system for the production of Juche iron true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung and brought about a leaping advance in the production.

It is none other than Kim Jong Il who should receive congratulations before anybody else on the success made in creating the Juche-oriented steel production method, they said, referring to the indefatigable efforts made by Kim Jong Il to materialize the behests of the President who said that whoever follows the Juche idea should produce Juche iron.

They said that today's historic event in which the Korean-style system for the production of Juche iron was completed to put an end to the conventional iron and steel making method would have been unthinkable without the President's idea of producing Juche iron and the undying feats he performed for it and Kim Jong Il's revolutionary faith and will and outstanding leadership.

They called on the workers of the complex to live up to Kim Jong Il's deep trust and great expectation with loyalty, cherishing deep in their minds the high honor and happiness bestowed upon them by him.
