Historic Mementoes Exhibitive of Kim Jong Suk's Feats
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- A large number of servicepersons, working people, youth and schoolchildren have visited the Korean Revolution Museum to mark the 92nd birth anniversary of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk.

On display in several rooms of the museum are lots of materials and historic relics showing her revolutionary feats.

Seen in Room No. 16 are her favorite pocket pistol and an enameled iron pan with two bullet holes.

The holes in the pan were made in the Hongqihe battle in March Juche 29 (1940) when she was luring the enemy away from the headquarters of the revolution to protect President Kim Il Sung from danger.

The pistol is an award the President gave to her in recognition of her meritorious service in the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

With the pistol, she defended the leadership of the revolution at the cost of her life and valiantly fought for the liberation of the country.

On view in other rooms are photos of the heroine working hard for the building of a state in accordance with the line laid down by the President, a sewing machine, chima and jogori (Korean skirt and jacket), handbag, wrist watch, etc. she used after the liberation of the country.

Exhibited in the hall named "Leader and Comrades-in-arms" are a plain iron pot she used to prepare meals for the President in days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, her favorite scarf and other mementoes and photos.

The exhibits provide the visitors with a good knowledge of the undying feats of Kim Jong Suk, who set an example in devotedly defending the leader.
